The Namring Upper Garden is one of the oldest gardens in Darjeeling located between 1500 and 2300m.
This Darjeeling 1st Flush 2015 consists of very beautiful bright green leaves and a few tea buds. It’s very pleasant, refreshing and with simultaneously strong and delicate notes mixing floral and slightly fruity notes such as peach and apricot.
The Darjeeling region has suffered from the drought this year. The first spring harvest has received too little water, which has affected the quality of some plantations. Therefore, as the harvest volume was smaller, the very high quality of Darjeeling has increased price too heavily. We were able to purchase a small amount of the very first high quality Darjeelings and we are going to wait a few weeks to select the next 1st Flush that will arrive in larger volume.
