Bancha is a central pillar of the Japanese green tea tradition and traditionally consists of the coarsest leaves from later harvests, with premium banchas made from early mid-harvest leaves like the one TEKOE offers.
It has less theine than Sencha and even less than Gyokuro and can therefore be drunk in the evening.
This tea is very sweet, mineral, and also ideal to enjoy in the evening.
