Here is a remarkable sencha produced on a small scale and harvested by hand in the Uji region (near Kyoto). Okumidori is a late harvesting cultivar with a nice aromatic freshness. Balanced and tasty, without astringency, its infusion is buttery. The liquor is refreshing and offers vegetal and fruity notes. A good everyday tea!
