Le bancha est un pilier central de la tradition japonaise du thé vert et se compose traditionnellement des feuilles les plus grossières des récoltes ultérieures, les banchas de qualité supérieure étant fabriqués à partir de feuilles du début de la mi- récolte comme celui que TEKOE vous propose.
Il possède moins de théine que le Sencha et encore moins que le Gyokuro et peut donc se boire en soirée.
Ce thé est très doux, minéral, et également idéal à déguster le soir.
